Meet Peanut, a 1-year-old Shepherd/Corgi mix with the perfect blend of brains, sweetness, and independence.

Peanut is a very sweet girl who catches on quickly and is eager to please. She already knows "sit" and shows just how smart she is every day. She's also wonderfully polite-she won't jump on the furniture, so if you're hoping for couch snuggles, you'll need to invite her up or scoop her into your lap yourself. (Trust us, she's worth it!)

Her crate is her safe space, and she goes in willingly to relax and unwind. Peanut does great on walks and enjoys getting out and exploring with her people. She's house trained, and while she's been on a good routine of frequent potty breaks, she's now started going to the back door to let you know when she needs to go-such a smart girl!

Peanut loves toys and playtime. She enjoys romping with the other dogs, but what's especially sweet is that when her playmates are done, she's perfectly happy entertaining herself. Her independent streak makes her easygoing and adaptable.

She does follow the cats with curiosity, but never aggressively-just a little "what are you up to?" interest. Because of her balanced personality, Peanut would likely do well in a home with other animals or as an only dog soaking up all the love and attention.
