DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Scarlet O'Hara! At just 6 months old, this adorable Heinz 57 mix is ready to steal your heart with her sweetness and spirit. Scarlet was found wandering a neighborhood in rural Georgia, bravely searching for a kind soul to help her. She has a small healing burn scar on her back leg — a reminder of her rough start — but don't let that fool you. This girl is all wiggles, zoomies, and tail wags! Scarlet's injury hasn't slowed her down one bit. She loves walks, a good dig in the dirt, belly rubs, and every toy she can get her paws on. Bursting with puppy energy, curiosity, and courage, Scarlet is the very picture of resilience. She's young, smart, and in her prime for training and socialization — ready to learn and love her way into your heart. Her story may have begun with hardship, but she's more than ready to rewrite it with joy. Scarlet is dreaming of a forever family who will cherish her for the brave, playful, and loving pup she is. Apply today and help Scarlet O'Hara find her happy ending!

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
