Shepherd and Australian Shepherd Dogs Available for Adoption

Well hi there! My name is Barrett, and I’m a smart and loyal boy who has figured out the perfect balance between silly play and loving together time. I’m a very observant boy who keeps a close watch on my foster mom to see what she’s up to, but I’m also very patient when it comes to waiting for attention. I really just enjoy being where you are – even if we’re just hanging out. My foster mom says even though I’m a baby, I have very soulful eyes, and my floofy face makes her smile every time she looks at me!

Barrett is a sweet, affectionate, and gentle boy. He shares his toys so nicely with his siblings and is always ready for a nap snuggle. He loves to tuck his head into your neck when you hold him – he’s a huge love. He’s friendly and curious about the large resident dogs in his foster home. He’s doing great learning to do his business in his potty area and sleeps soundly through the night with his siblings in a large pen currently. He’ll spend the next couple weeks continuing to learn and grow with his siblings, then will be ready for a home of his own at 8 weeks. Barrett will be a perfect fit for anyone looking for a sweet and loving companion.

Barrett is estimated to be 6 weeks old and 5.5 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
