Zydeco is a "yuppie puppy" full of curiosity and zest. Like his namesake music, he’s got a lot of "pull" and personality. While Shar Peis are often known for being independent and stoic, Zydeco’s mix likely adds an extra layer of playfulness and affection that makes him a perfect companion for an active household. He is currently in a crucial fear and socialization period, making him especially impressionable and eager for positive new experiences.
ABOUT: SHAR PEI DOG BREED
The Shar Pei is a distinctive breed known for their deep wrinkles and blue black tongue. Originally from China, these medium sized dogs are loyal, independent, and protective of their families. Shar Peis have a unique appearance with a hippopotamus like face and a broad, padded muzzle. Their coat can be either horse coat or brush coat, coming in a variety of colors. While they can be aloof with strangers, Shar Peis are devoted companions with a calm demeanor, making them wonderful family pets.
