Meet Krewe, the undisputed leader of our Mardi Gras litter! This handsome 8-week-old male Shar Pei mix is ready to march right into his forever home just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Personality: The Leader of the Pack
True to his name, Krewe is a loyal team player who loves being at the center of the action. While Shar Peis are often loyal and independent, Krewe shows a playful, spirited side typical of a young mix. He is currently in a critical socialization window, meaning he’s eager to learn the ropes and bond deeply with his new "krewe" (that’s you!).
ABOUT: SHAR PEI DOG BREED
The Shar Pei is a distinctive breed known for their deep wrinkles and blue black tongue. Originally from China, these medium sized dogs are loyal, independent, and protective of their families. Shar Peis have a unique appearance with a hippopotamus like face and a broad, padded muzzle. Their coat can be either horse coat or brush coat, coming in a variety of colors. While they can be aloof with strangers, Shar Peis are devoted companions with a calm demeanor, making them wonderful family pets.
