Meet Bourbon, the 8-week-old Shar Pei mix who’s ready to pour a little soul into your life! Named after the heart of Mardi Gras, this handsome fella is a festive blend of "wrinkly and rowdy" with a side of "sweet and smooth."
Personality: Like his namesake, Bourbon is spirited and full of character. He’s currently a curious explorer who loves a good snuggle session after a "parade" around the yard.

The Shar Pei is a distinctive breed known for their deep wrinkles and blue black tongue. Originally from China, these medium sized dogs are loyal, independent, and protective of their families. Shar Peis have a unique appearance with a hippopotamus like face and a broad, padded muzzle. Their coat can be either horse coat or brush coat, coming in a variety of colors. While they can be aloof with strangers, Shar Peis are devoted companions with a calm demeanor, making them wonderful family pets.
