Gus Gus is an 8-month-old, neutered Pit Bull / Shar Pei mix weighing about 57 lbs of pure sweetness. With his smooshy face, adorable wrinkles, and soulful eyes, he's the kind of dog that makes you melt the second you meet him.

This handsome boy is calm, gentle, and submissive, with wonderful manners that make him an absolute joy to be around. He walks nicely on leash, appears potty trained, and is low-energy and easygoing—a true “good boy” through and through. Gus Gus does great with other dogs and kids, and he makes friends with just about everyone he meets.

Gus would love a home with another dog friend and a yard where he can lounge and soak up the sunshine, but he'd also happily tag along for patio brunch dates or to watch the big game with his people. He's the perfect mix of relaxed companion and loyal best friend.

The Shar Pei is a distinctive breed known for their deep wrinkles and blue black tongue. Originally from China, these medium sized dogs are loyal, independent, and protective of their families. Shar Peis have a unique appearance with a hippopotamus like face and a broad, padded muzzle. Their coat can be either horse coat or brush coat, coming in a variety of colors. While they can be aloof with strangers, Shar Peis are devoted companions with a calm demeanor, making them wonderful family pets.
