Shar Pei and Labrador Retriever Dogs Available for Adoption

Allow us to introduce Adora. Adora is a member of our Valentine puppy litter. According to reports, she is a Shar-Pei and Labrador Retriever mix. Notably, she exhibits the physical characteristics and sweet disposition of a Labrador. Adora is extremely affectionate towards humans of all ages and thoroughly enjoys snuggling. While she gets along well with other dogs, she is independent and may thrive as a solo canine companion. Despite being the runt of the litter, Adora is remarkably feisty and fearless. She has been crate trained and is making significant progress with potty training. This intelligent puppy has already learned to ring a bell to signal her need to go outside. Visit ruffredemption.org to complete an application. All Ruff Redemption Dogs are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They also receive a minimum of two distemper/parvo vaccines, medication for the treatment and prevention of intestinal worms, and monthly heart worm/flea prevention while in our care. Rabies vaccines are given if the dog is 16 weeks of age or older.

The Shar Pei is a distinctive breed known for their deep wrinkles and blue black tongue. Originally from China, these medium sized dogs are loyal, independent, and protective of their families. Shar Peis have a unique appearance with a hippopotamus like face and a broad, padded muzzle. Their coat can be either horse coat or brush coat, coming in a variety of colors. While they can be aloof with strangers, Shar Peis are devoted companions with a calm demeanor, making them wonderful family pets.
