Bio:

The "cheese litter" has arrived in the Dairy State!! It's spaghetti night - you've got the noodles, the sauce - now you need the Parm!

Compared to the two sisters she is fostered with, Parm is definitely the more timid one who would rather watch the shenanigans from a distance and avoid direct assault (which is better for sneak attacks!). That doesn't mean she doesn't love to play - she's just smart about it!

Like her siblings, Parm will need an experienced home ready to guide him with structure, training, and consistency as she grows.

She and her siblings are not quite ready to go home yet, but they can be adopted now and held for two weeks until they’re ready to make the move.

Important Details:

They are currently 6 weeks old and will NOT go home until 8 weeks old

We are accepting applications now so we can find the perfect match ahead of time.

DNA results are posted for full transparency. Babies were bottle fed early on when mom was found deceased (likely due to poisoning).

The ideal home: This pup will need a home that understands both breeds:

Cattle Dog side: Active, structured, and committed to training and mental stimulation. These dogs thrive when they have a “job” and consistent guidance.

Sharpei side: Loyal, independent, and naturally more reserved. Sharpeis tend to be protective of their people and can be wary of strangers, so early socialization and confident leadership are key. They do best in homes that respect their space, understand their boundaries, and provide calm, consistent structure.

The Cattle Dog is a diligent and robust herding breed known for its agility, intelligence, and hardworking nature. Originating in Australia, Cattle Dogs are highly energetic and require ample exercise and mental stimulation. The Shar Pei is a distinctive breed known for their deep wrinkles and blue black tongue. Originally from China, these medium sized dogs are loyal, independent, and protective of their families. Shar Peis have a unique appearance with a hippopotamus like face and a broad, padded muzzle. Their coat can be either horse coat or brush coat, coming in a variety of colors. While they can be aloof with strangers, Shar Peis are devoted companions with a calm demeanor, making them wonderful family pets.
