Background/Foster Notes:
Copper Blaze is a big, beautiful boy with an even bigger heart. This striking red-mahogany gentleman was found as a stray and brought into the shelter by a member of the public. While we may not know much about his past, it’s clear that Copper Blaze has a gentle soul and an easygoing nature that makes him a joy to be around.
Despite his impressive size, Copper Blaze is wonderfully mellow and well-mannered. He walks beautifully on leash, rides calmly in the car, and settles easily into daily routines. Nothing seems to rattle this sweet boy—he takes the world in stride with a relaxed, laid-back attitude.
Copper Blaze absolutely loves people, especially kids, and greets everyone with his soft, friendly demeanor. With other dogs he tends to be polite and mostly indifferent, happy to coexist without needing to be the center of attention. Cats don’t seem to interest him either, making him a potentially great fit for a variety of households.
In the home, Copper Blaze is proving to be a very easy companion. He appears to be house trained, is comfortable in a crate, and has shown no destructive habits. He’s the kind of dog who simply wants to be near his people, soaking up affection and enjoying the comfort of a safe home.
Copper Blaze would love a yard where he can stretch his long legs and enjoy the outdoors, but his calm nature means he could also adapt well to apartment living with regular walks and exercise. Whether he’s lounging at your feet, going for a relaxed stroll, or hopping in the car for an adventure, Copper Blaze is happiest just being part of the family. If you’re looking for a gentle giant with a calm spirit, loving heart, and stunning good looks, Copper Blaze may be the perfect companion to fill your home with warmth and loyalty.
