Scottish Deerhound Dogs Available for Adoption

Meet the lovely Tanya, a Scottish Deerhound mix who's friendly, playful, and full of life!

This approximately 2-year-old lady has a heart as big as her playful spirit and a mind as sharp as a whip. With her affectionate and athletic nature, she's the perfect companion for those seeking a loyal friend and a workout buddy all in one furry package!

Tanya loves to play with her sister, Blackie, and would benefit from having another playful dog around her size in her new home. She may be a bit shy at first, but once she opens up, you'll see the true depth of her loving nature. With her sweet disposition and playful spirit, Tanya is sure to bring joy and laughter to her forever family. Tanya requires a stockade-fence (she can jump a chain-link) and a home visit is required. She seems to prefer older kids only (+10 years). No young children.

Tanya is not crated at her foster home, but does well in the crate at adoption events, with her soft dog bed. She is house-trained but may need more assistance with leash training (we definitely recommend a harness when walking).

Tanya is spayed, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250.
