DESCRIPTION

Meet Briggs!
Briggs is a 5-month-old Schnauzer weighing 14.2 pounds of puppy sweetness. As a young pup, he is still learning how to navigate the world and can be a bit shy at first. With patience, understanding, and a gentle approach, he continues to gain confidence and show his loving personality.

Because he's still growing and learning, the right training and socialization are key to setting him up for success and ensuring a great fit in his new home. A family committed to helping him build skills and confidence will help Briggs truly thrive.

Briggs may do best in a home with another friendly dog companion to help guide him and provide reassurance as he continues to develop.

To ensure the best possible match, a meet and greet at our shelter is required for all potential adopters. We want to make sure Briggs finds the right home - and that your home is the perfect place for him to grow and flourish.
------
Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
