Chewbacca may be a little shy when you first meet him, but give him a little time and his sweet, affectionate personality truly shines. Once he feels safe, he becomes incredibly loving and loyal. He adores giving and receiving hugs, enjoys playtime, and has a fun, lively spirit.
He is house-trained, walks nicely on leash, and enjoys being around children. Chewbacca does well with female dogs but can be territorial with other males. We're not yet sure how he feels about cats.
His Story
Chewbacca's journey hasn't been easy. He was abandoned alongside two other dogs on a farm in Guadalajara. When he arrived at the shelter, he was covered in ticks and his fur was severely matted — clear signs he had been neglected.
Today, he is healthy, safe, and ready for a fresh start. All he needs now is a warm, loving home where he can share the devotion and affection he has been holding onto.
