Saint Bernard Dogs Available for Adoption

COPERNICUS

Saint Bernard
🇨🇦
Burnaby, British Columbia
March 14th
male, large, young

DESCRIPTION

Meet Copernicus the most patient, soft and friendly teddy bear of a dog that you will ever meet!

This boy has a heart of gold and is very loving and loyal. He gives big sloppy kisses and giant bear hugs and loves cuddles! This boy is an impressive 90 pounds but thinks he is cat size and wants to be a lap dog!!!

Copernicus is smart and knows the commands sit, and shake a paw. He is a big foodie so if you have treats he is easily trained! He has excellent leash manners and enjoys going for slow strolls around the local parks. He is also crate trained. We are currently working on his house training. He will poop and pee outside but occasionally has pee accidents in the house. This is decreasing over time.

This boy is wonderful with other dogs and cats. He is also excellent with children however due to his size I would not recommend he be adopted to a home with small children as he will easily knock them over with his size. This also applies to senior citizens or people with limited mobility as he likes to push up against your legs for cuddles which can unbalance you is you are not steady.

He has started playing with balls but does not know to fetch them back yet. He doesn’t appear to have any interest in other toys yet.

Copernicus is super friendly and affectionate with everyone he meets and will make any family that adopts him extremely happy.
