Chunk-O is a St. Bernard / Labrador Retriever mix who came to us through no fault of his own after being surrendered by his owner. He and his sister, Strawberry (also available for adoption), were the last two pups from an accidental litter of eight, and we stepped in to make sure they get the loving homes they deserve.

Chunk-O is brand new to our rescue, but so far he’s checking all the good-boy boxes. He appears to be crate trained. The owner stated he has been exposed to a leash but not walked regularly so he may take a little time to settle in. He is dog and people friendly, having grown up in the home with 6 children. He loves attention, and is happiest soaking up affection from anyone willing to give it. Most of all, this sweet guy just wants a family to call his own. The owner stated that Chunk-O, while the largest in the litter, is the biggest baby. He's more on the shy side but super sweet. He and his sister Strawberry (also available for adoption) really love water. Chunk-O and Strawberry have lived outdoors the last several months so housetraining may need some work.
