Libby isn’t just a dog; she’s a partner. Rescued from a situation where she was overlooked, this girl has spent the last year proving that she is anything but "unadoptable." Libby is a high-drive, high-intelligence powerhouse wrapped in a classic Rottie "smooshable" face.

The Heart of a Champion

Don't let the paperwork fool you. While Libby was flagged as a puppy for a Grade 2 heart murmur, she hasn't let it slow her down for a second. We’ve had her monitored closely by our vet every four months, and her murmur has remained a stable, mild Grade 2 since she was a tiny pup. She is vibrant, active, and ready to take on the world!

A Working Girl at Heart

Libby is looking for more than just a couch to sleep on (though she’ll gladly share yours). She is exceptionally smart and lives to please.

• Sport Potential: We’ve introduced her to agility, and she took to it like a pro. She loves the mental and physical challenge.

• Water Enthusiast: We call her a "total shark" in the water. If there is a pool, lake, or dock to jump off of, Libby is in her element.

• Service/Job Candidate: Because she is so focused and learns so quickly, she would thrive in a home where she has a "job" to do or is involved in consistent training.

Everyone who meets Libby falls instantly in love. She has a magnetic personality and a face that begs for squishy forehead kisses. When she’s done "working," she is a world-class cuddler who just wants to be pressed up against her favorite human.

Ideal Home & Social Life

Libby is a social butterfly in public and does great around other dogs when she's out and about. However, she has a "big sister" personality at home and can be a bit of a bossy b*tch with her housemates.

• Best Fit: She would be happiest as an only dog where she can be the center of your universe.

• Alternative: She may do well in a home with a large, easy-going male dog who doesn't mind her bossy streaks.
