Meet Malia

Malia is a 2-year-old Rottweiler weighing about 50 lbs, and she's just arrived so we're still getting to know her! For now, she's settling in and taking everything in, but we're excited to learn more about her personality as she gets comfortable.

While we get to know Malia, here's what to expect from a dog with Rottweiler traits:

Highly intelligent and quick to learn
Naturally protective, making them great companions when properly trained
Affectionate and loving with their family

They thrive in homes that can provide structure, consistency, and guidance, along with regular exercise and mental stimulation. With the right environment, Rottweilers are incredibly well-balanced, gentle, and loyal dogs.

Fun Fact:
Rottweilers were originally used as working dogs to herd cattle and pull carts which is why they're so strong, focused, and love having a "job" to do!
