Who could ever get tired of that sweet face?! Hunter is an adorable Rottweiler mix with a happy heart, a playful spirit and the most irresistible twinkling eyes. This boy seems to approach everything with a smile!

Hunter is playful and bouncy, but he's also gentle, affectionate and incredibly sweet. He's good with other dogs and would love a family who will enjoy his happy-go-lucky personality as much as we do.

Hunter is 3 years old and weighs 55 pounds. He did recently test positive for heartworms, but please dont let that keep you from meeting this wonderful boy! His heartworm treatment is completely covered—we simply need to find him a loving home or foster home where he can relax and recover during treatment. We're happy to provide all the details about his treatment plan to anyone interested in fostering or adopting him.

Once his treatment is complete, Hunter can go on to live a completely normal, healthy life with no restrictions.

This sweet, joyful boy has so much love to give, and we know he's going to make an amazing addition to his forever family


ADOPTING A DOG
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).

If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.

We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
