Bruno is a 4 year old Rottweiler pup who is a really sweet boy. He is good with dogs, cats and kids.
He loves to play with his new toy and enjoy chilling in the yard. But most of all, he likes being a couch potato, laying next to his foster parent.
He was rescued from a very high kill shelter of Houston, where he was a staff favorite, that kept him alive.
He loves to give kisses and lay on you. He is very loving and extremely loyal.
As every rottie, Bruno is very strong, and needs a strong handler who will be able to take him on walks if needed.
Bruno is very affectionate and adorable. He hugs his foster dad when he returns from work, and is very velcro with him.
Bruno is also very smart and sensitive. He is extremely well-behaved, quiet, calm, and obedient. He likes to please and hardly ever barks.
A home with a fully fenced yard is mandatory, as well as parents with large breed experience. He lives with many dogs and cats and gets along with everyone. He likes to hold the paws of his foster doggie sister when he lays on bed. (see picture).
Bruno is definitely one of the best pups in our program who is very loved.
He is currently about 110 lb and growing, fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative, and kept on heartworm and flea preventative.
Sweet Bruno is being fostered in Houston, but can be transported anywhere, in the States or Canada, as long as it’s the best home for him.
To meet this sweet baby in person or via facetime, please email savesomesoulsrescue@gmail.com or send an application via www.savesomesouls.com
Bruo’s adoption fee of $400 includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, and Harness. Transport fee from Texas is between $250-$300 for his size.
Our dogs are fully assessed by foster parents, vets and behaviorists, as well as videos and video chats are available to observe their manners in public. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them.
Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued our high kill shelter, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and shelters as possible. So Thank you for choosing to rescue, and not go to a breeder.
