- Sweet, goofy girl who is learning that the world isn't quite as scary as she thought!

- Has made great strides in her foster home, becoming more comfortable with doorways, hardwood floors and stairs; once she decides something is safe, her silly, playful personality starts coming out

- Enjoys playing in water in plastic pools

- Has gotten a great start on potty training in her foster home but will need some help from her new family to get all the way there

- Has been sleeping through the night in her kennel

- Has been living with a toddler in her foster home and has done OK supervised, but doesn't quite understand that he is a tiny human, so she may do best with kids who are a little older

- Has been doing great with the dog in her foster home and likes to initiate play

- May need a little patience while she figures out new situations, but under the initially scared little girl is a happy, playful, affectionate goofball waiting to come out!

The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
