Rottweiler Dogs Available for Adoption

Meet the gorgeous Daxon! he joined our rescue earlier this year and has been staying warm at the home of amazing foster.

Daxon is 2 years, 4 months old and weighs about 95 pounds. His favorite toys are Nyla bones and antlers. Daxon gets along with male and female dogs in his home. Although he plays rough and can play for a long time - he does take correction from another dog very well. Cats are an unknown. Daxon really enjoys cot beds like a Karunda and likes blankets. He is very treat motivated and sweet but does not like to be restrained at the vet.

Daxon is heartworm negative, neutered and current on vaccines as well as microchipped. We have been told that he got along well with kids in his previous home but Kay does not have kids to confirm this. He is fostered in Snow Camp, NC. ** ADOPTION DETAILS: At this time, due to the size of our rescue, adoptions are limited to NORTH CAROLINA, SOUTH CAROLINA, VIRGINIA and +/-6 hours from Raleigh, NC. ADOPTION FEE: Our total adoption fee is $400, including a non-refundable $25 application fee. Fee can be paid using the "DONATE" button on our website (www.RottweilerHeartsRescue.org) - please indicate in the notes that it is for an application fee, and the intended dog. PLEASE only apply if you have have kept other dogs in your home current on vaccines and on heartworm and flea/tick preventative.
