Hello, my name is Bailey Moon. I was rescued from Animal Control in the nick of time, and I'm so grateful to have a great foster home. My foster parents have been diligent about helping me settle in; we did careful introductions to the resident pooches (I passed) and even the cat. The cat was a bit tougher, I really wasn't sure how I felt about him for a while, but now we have come to an understanding - it is his home, after all. I could live with a dog friendly cat, with some careful introductions, but maybe a dog only home would be best for everyone. I do love to play with my foster doggy siblings! I'm a sweet girl, I love belly rubs and ear scritches. Sometimes I can be a little hyper, but some good outdoor time, some walks or hikes (my leash manners are very good), that would help me release some of my energy. I love food and I tend to gobble, so I eat separately from my foster siblings. I also enjoy toys, especially the kind I can chew on, like stuffed bones. I'm crate and potty trained too, so no worries there. I've also learned "sit" and I could easily pick up more commands, since I'm a smarty pants. Now that I'm safe, I would love to have a home of my own, with my very own family to love on. I was able to spend time with older kids and man, did we have fun! Kids are great! My ideal home would be somewhere I can go and be active, do some jogging, hiking or even some agility, and then take some long naps. I'm a good cuddler, and I'll keep you warm during these chilly times!

Faith and Hope is an established rescue group based in Texas but delivers to multiple states on the East and West Coast. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and others, with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $500 adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies) spay/neuter, microchip and transportation fees.

In addition to their remarkable abilities, shepherds are often characterized by their distinctive appearance, including a sturdy build, alert expression, and a signature double coat that provides insulation and protection in various climates.
