DESCRIPTION

Hi there! My name is Owlette! I’m a loyal pup who loves my people so much that I’d really prefer to have all of your attention to myself — that means I need to be the only dog in the home. I promise I have enough love, personality, and zoomies to fill the whole house anyway! I’d also do best in a home without cats. They’re just not really my thing, and I’d rather skip the drama. Before I pack my toys and move in, I’d love to meet everyone in the household to make sure we’re the perfect match. Building trust and friendships is super important to me! One more thing — apartment life isn’t for me. I’d be happiest in a home with a little more space where I can stretch my legs, relax, and enjoy life comfortably. If you’re looking for a devoted best friend who will love you with their whole heart, I just might be your perfect match! Owlette is available on a first come, first served basis. To meet this pet, please come to the shelter during adoption hours, fill out a survey with your information, and then you'll meet with an adoption coordinator who will introduce you and walk you through the adoption process.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
