Crow loves to explore and has never met a stranger, but he's quick to drop whatever he's doing when a human appears so that he can greet them and be adored! In new situations and when meeting new friends he lays on the charm. Crow doesn't realize that someday he'll grow into a big, Labrador-sized dog. Right now he only knows that he loves to be picked up and held by anyone who will take a moment for him, leaning in fully to let you know that you're all he cares about right now. Crow is equal parts fun adventurer and easy-going lover boy, and he can't wait to settle in to his new life and get down to the business of making new friends and memories.
Crow has grown confident and brave over his time in foster, always aiming to please. He is overall submissive in nature, accommodates other dogs very nicely even had the opportunity to be around the foster family's cats when out in the yard and didn't chase the felines! He takes his cues from his people and learns very quickly (sitting for treats was mastered in under 2 minutes, for example). He has been developing his house training skills as his nerves are just now getting to the stage of being able to "hold it" between the kennel area and the back yard. It's definitely a work in progress his new family will need to help him with one-on-one to help him connect the dots to only "go" when he gets outside. Crow also isn't a big noise maker, only occasionally barking when something or someone new appears, but otherwise not very noisy. He is playful and does love to zoom around the yard with his sibling, but settles nicely when he comes inside and behaves well indoors after burning energy off with exercise. He would love to learn about leash walking so that he can go on walks in the neighborhood greeting all the new people and dogs, and would make an excellent hiker for a family who is the outdoor type.
