Spike is a sweet, friendly boy that is in need of a new home. Spike was hanging out near some businesses and a day care center. Shop owners didn't want Spike to get hurt in their parking lots or on the busy four-lane road where they were located, so they called the shelter for some help. Animal Control came out for Spike and made contact with his owner. Spike was signed over to the deputy and he is now in the market for a new home. Spike has all of his vaccinations, he is heartworm negative, he has a microchip, and he has been neutered. There is only one thing that might hold back Spike from finding a new home and that is his age. Spike is nine-years-old! He is a gentle senior boy that loves to find soft places to sleep, go for several walks each day, and snuggle up by his favorite person!
