DESCRIPTION
Hi there. My name is Waylin. I am a 10 year old Retriever mix. I am what’s called a tough cookie. When I came to Lizzy’s I had a mass hanging off of the outside of my gums in my mouth. After going to the vet, I had surgery….. removal of mass, neuter, and dental…. All during the same surgery. Whew, boy do I feel better. The mass was nothing to be worried about - connected by a small strand to my gum and no signs of any other masses. I was very very thin, but am on the road to gaining weight. Boy do I like to eat :o). The next step is heartworm treatment, which will be in a few weeks. The person(s) who had me certainly did not take care of me at all. Shame on them. Anyway, they are in my rearview mirror, I am not looking back, and my future's looking soooo bright. I am loving every bit of it. I am now looking for a fabulous foster family or a wonderful forever family of my very own. I ride okay in the car – I am getting better . I have learned to jump into the car on my own. I love to go for walks and am getting better at walking in a straight line instead of zigzag. See, things are so much better already. I love living with other dogs. I don’t play with them, but I may get comfortable enough down the road to give that a try, also. I hope to meet you soon. I can't wait to meet you. Any questions, email lizzyshospice@gmail.com
