Hi there! I'm Murphy

I'm a 7-year-old Golden Retriever, and if you're looking for a loyal, loving best friend... I think we need to meet.

I absolutely *love* being around people. Big family? Lots of kids? Sounds perfect to me! I'm wonderful with kids of all ages and happiest when I'm right in the middle of whatever my humans are doing. If you move, I move. If you sit, I'm right there. I just love being part of the action.

I've got great energy and I'm always ready for a walk or a game of fetch. Playtime? Yes, please. Backyard adventures? Even better! A fenced yard is a must for me because I really enjoy stretching my legs and soaking up the fresh air.

I already know "sit," "down," and "stay," and I'm crate trained, potty trained, leash trained, and house trained. I'm a pretty easy guy to take care of overall - I just want love and some daily activity. I will say... I get *very* excited on walks and can pull hard on the leash. I'm strong and enthusiastic, so I'll need someone willing to keep working with me on my walking manners.

I'd prefer to be the only dog in the home. I want all the love and attention for myself - and trust me, I'll give it right back tenfold.

I'm sweet, playful, friendly, and incredibly loyal. I've settled into my foster home quickly and am already loving life. That's just who I am - I'm ready to love wherever I land.

**A word from my foster:** Whoever gets Murphy is very lucky. He truly is the sweetest dog. We've had him for less than a week and he's already settled in and loving life.

Adoption FEE: $500 which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals.

A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption.

All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.

Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need.
