Meet Gizmo! He is a 3 month old Lab/Retriever mix puppy

Gizmo is a sweet, mellow boy with a gentle and easygoing personality. Of the two puppies, he’s the more outgoing one and adjusts quickly to new situations. He doesn’t bark much and takes life in stride — including his recent transition from living outdoors to becoming a happy indoor pup. He’s handled the change beautifully! Gizmo loves being outside and especially enjoys playtime. Soft toys with squeakers are his absolute favorite, and he’s always ready for some fun. He also just wants to be included in whatever you’re doing — he’s happiest being part of the family. He’s doing great with potty training and goes right away when taken outside. He has never pooped in his crate and settles nicely at night, usually only fussing for a few minutes, if at all. He’s learning that going into his crate is a good thing (especially when dinner is involved!) and continues to make steady progress with kennel training.

Car rides are no big deal for Gizmo — he rides quietly with just a few little squeaks here and there. Even new household experiences don’t phase him. The first time the vacuum cleaner came out, he wasn’t scared at all! Gizmo would make a wonderful companion for a first-time dog owner thanks to his steady temperament and adaptable nature. He would likely do well as an only dog, soaking up all the attention, although he sure enjoys canine company also. He also has a strong interest in scents and loves to sniff, so with the right training, he could potentially excel in hunting or scent-based activities.
