Retriever and Australian Shepherd Dogs Available for Adoption

Hi to you! I’m Bixby, and I’m a big fan of both affection and silly play! My foster mom tells me I look like a little cartoon baby lab – but I insist I am destined for much bigger things! I’m a fun and friendly boy who loves to get my siblings to play with me, and I have an appreciation for stuffy or soft chew toys I can carry around. Once I’ve had a bit of fun, I love nothing more than to curl up and snuggle with you.

Bixby is such a silly and snuggly boy. He will crack you up with his antics but melt your heart with his sweetness too. He’s friendly and curious about the large resident dogs in his foster home. He’s doing great learning to do his business in his potty area and sleeps soundly through the night with his siblings in a large pen currently. He’ll spend the next couple weeks continuing to learn and grow with his siblings, then will be ready for a home of his own at 8 weeks. If you’re looking for a sweet and friendly companion, it’s time to meet Bixby!

Bixby is estimated to be 6 weeks old and 5.5 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
