Retriever and Australian Shepherd Dogs Available for Adoption

Oh hello! My name is Benson, and you might be wondering if it’s possible to combine max adorableness with the sweetest ever demeanor, and I’m here to tell you it IS! I am a patient loving boy who absolutely loves to snuggle up with you or be held close. I’m the smallest of my litter right now, but was the first to crawl up on my foster mom, because I already know laps and snuggles are the best! Since life is all about variety, it’s important you know I also enjoy a bit of silly play time, but I share my toys so nicely with anyone else who’d like to play too.

Benson is ridiculously sweet – he has a little baby face with a heart of gold. He is patient but knows that being with people and crawling up on a lap is the very best place to be! He’s friendly and curious about the large resident dogs in his foster home. He’s doing great learning to do his business in his potty area and sleeps soundly through the night with his siblings in a large pen currently. He’ll spend the next couple weeks continuing to learn and grow with his siblings, then will be ready for a home of his own at 8 weeks. If you’re looking for fun and affection in one little floofy package, you need to meet Benson.

Benson is estimated to be 6 weeks old and 7 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
