Meet Leela, the 10 month old pug mix. Her face always has the most adorable pout, and she is quick to make her way into both your lap and your heart when you meet her.
Leela came in with her brother, Fry, and they were terrified of their new surroundings. At 10 months old, they were just experiencing walking on a leash for the first time. Now she is nearly a pro on the leash, and loves to take nice leisurely strolls where she can sniff as much as her heart desires.
This girl is so full of love, she just wants to be close to you and crawl up into your lap and give kisses. We’ve loved seeing her blossom as much as she has while here at the shelter. Her playful side has come out in full force!
She may need some time to warm up when meeting new people, but a little patience and some treats sure go a long way! Leela would also do great in a home with another playful pup :)
