PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE INQUIRING – WE RESPOND FIRST TO THOSE WHO PUT IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION

FRED IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED NEAR MARION, IOWA.

Fred was found while we were street feeding in Texas and quite literally begged to be saved. We couldn’t leave him behind. This adorable 2-year-old Pug mix is now safe and ready to find the family he so clearly wanted.

Fred is a goofy, loving boy who truly loves everyone and everything. He thrives on attention and just wants to be close to his people. He does well with other dogs, cats, and kids. Fred is potty trained, crate trained, and is learning that leash walks can be a lot of fun. He is affectionate, social, and always ready to soak up all the love in the world.

Fred is heartworm positive, which is common among strays in the South. The good news is that he is completing treatment and is on his way to being heartworm negative soon. If you have any questions about his health, please don’t hesitate to reach out via email.

Fred is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $450.

If you’re interested in giving Fred his forever home, please complete our adoption application linked below. Thank you for considering this sweet pup!

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
