Chalupa is a Chihuahua/Pug mix (aka a `Chug`) with a big personality packed into a small body.He can seem a little amped up at first, which isn't unusual given how stressful and overstimulating the shelter environment can be for small dogs. Once he is out, has had a chance to decompress, and taken care of important business, Chalupa shows his much more relaxed and affectionate side.He enjoys gentle pets, happily soaks up attention, and is more than willing to hop up next to you for some quality cuddle time. Beneath that initial burst of energy is a sweet, companionable little dog who just wants to feel comfortable and secure. We have not yet observed Chalupa with other dogs. If you have a dog and are interested in meeting him, you are welcome to bring your pup to your appointment for a guided dog-to-dog introduction.Schedule an appointment to meet Chalupa at yoloshelter.org/dogs or email adopt@yoloshelter.org
