Sweet little Joan Jett has already been through so much in her short life - but you'd never know it from her gentle spirit. This tiny 9-pound mama came to us pregnant from a heartbreaking hoarding situation.
Once her own babies were weaned (and she was spayed so she'll never have to go through that again!), Joan went above and beyond - stepping in to lovingly nurse a few orphaned pups who needed her.
Now, it's Joan's turn to be the one cared for
Joan is crate trained, tidy with her potty habits, quietly following her foster outside to do her business. She can be shy at first - understandable, given her past - but once she learns you're safe, she melts right into your lap and your heart. She takes treats ever so gently and loves simply being near her people.
We haven't leash tested her yet, but she's perfectly content exploring the house and yard, taking in her new world at her own pace.
