We took this girl in because she was a little too afraid to be comfortable at the shelter. Some dogs need decompression. Some dogs need to borrow someone else’s confidence, for awhile. Drake is always happy to lend his. The second she walked in and got to sniff Drake, her whole body started wiggling. And bam, everyone was now a friend. She hopped in all of our laps and played like she didn’t have a care in the world.
Moira is about 8 months old. She has done well with dogs. She can be a tiny bit hesitant, in new situations, but a good dog bestie will help change that, in no time. We think she’s pug/bulldog mix. She is a noisy player but redirects easily if her dog friends get weirded out. She will need to learn a new routine for her potty schedule, whenever she goes home but she’s smart and will catch on fast with some human diligence.
Moira is 30-35 lbs. She is a solid little thing.

We cannot hold animals more than 7 days after we approve an application, as we don't want them to miss out on a forever home.
Adopters are required to come to us to meet the pets. We cannot ship or transport animals.
