Portuguese Water Dog and Schnauzer Dogs Available for Adoption in Augusta, Georgia

Rambi was surrendered to Hands to Paws because the owner is being forced to move due to landlord wanting to sell house and property. The owner took Rambi in two and half years ago after having seen her being dumped out of a car in a parking lot. Rambi has spent all of her life in an outdoor kennel before coming into the rescue. She is having a lot of new experiences and slowly acclimating well to them. She is learning to be an inside dog and learning to follow a potty schedule. She is learning to spend some time in a crate, but not thrilled about it as of yet.
Rambi has been introduced to several dogs and learning that dogs can be her friend. She loves, loves people and toys and is learning to walk on a leash. She is very excitable and needs an active family who will let her be an inside buddy. She needs a fenced in yard to run and play!
