Portuguese Podengo and Greyhound Dogs Available for Adoption

Maple is a 12 old Podengo who spent her life up until March 2026 outside in Southeastern MA. She was used for rabbit hunting but her owner realized that he was a little overwhelmed with the amount of dogs so he surrendered a few of them to us. Ginny is ready for an adoptive home or a "foster to adopt home." She will need someone to still crate her overnight and in between potty breaks during the day. She wears a diaper in the house in between potty breaks when she is loose to ensure she doesn't have any accidents in the home and so far she is doing AWESOME!
She walks nicely on a leash but is not the type of dog that can ever be off leash. This breed is very "flighty" so they cannot be off leash or in a position where they could escape the home but she hasn't been as flighty as most. Sh eis happy ot be nearby you. She will make an awesome family member with just a little more training as she is awesome with cats, dogs and kids. :) She has a decreased adoption fee.
