Annie was fostered for two weeks and quickly became a favorite. From day one, she settled in beautifully and showed just how sweet and affectionate she is. She loves snuggles and is a true velcro dog who wants to be close to her people as much as possible.
When Annie is with her people, she’s quiet and doesn’t bark without reason, but she does have separation anxiety and becomes distressed when left alone which results in a lot of crying and barking. Annie would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time — she’d be a wonderful companion for a retiree or someone who works from home.
Annie is crate trained and sleeps well in her crate as long as it’s near her people. She’s fully potty trained with no accidents in foster care. She eats enthusiastically (and quickly!) and has some dietary restrictions with limited portions.
She has also done well sharing her foster home with another dog and she enjoys going on walks. Annie is a truly sweet girl who deserves a loving, devoted home.
