Simon is a sweet little guy who came to us from a puppy mill, and he’s still learning how to be a “normal dog.” He’s not the type who’s going to run up to you for snuggles right away. Simon needs a calm home, a patient person, and someone who understands that trust takes time.

Right now, he’s still working on potty training. He will use a pee pad to go potty (including poop), but he doesn’t always want to go outside. Sometimes he needs a little encouragement (okay… sometimes you basically have to make him go).

Simon is curious about his people and wants to be close, but he’s still pretty standoffish about being touched and pet. He needs someone who will let him go at his own pace and celebrate the small wins as they come.

Simon also requires a securely fenced yard because he is not leash trained and will not go for walks at this time.

Simon is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, has had bloodwork, has had a dental cleaning, and is on monthly preventatives.

Adoption fee: $350

Adoption requirements:
Applicants must be within a one-hour driving distance of Cleveland, Ohio. A complete and approved application is required prior to an in-home meet and greet.
