Poodle Dogs Available for Adoption in Oakland, California

Dashielle is a Miniature Poodle gentleman who came in as a stray with his sister, Sparkle. At around 5 years old and weighing about 11 pounds, he may be shy initially, but after he warms up, he starts to show his curiosity and energy.

Dashielle can be barky around new people and unfamiliar sounds. He also likes to cuddle, especially if Sparkle is enjoying a cuddle—he seems to treat cuddling as a competitive sport.

Dashielle loves a good small squeaky plushie or ball. He can amuse himself for quite some time with squeaking toys and tossing his ball around on his own. His curiosity can sometimes get him into trouble. He likes to drink out of human water cups and jump on side furniture (both of these dogs can jump fairly high).

It is
unclear whether Dashielle is house trained, though he has rarely had accidents in the house while allowed in common spaces. He has been observed having a small accident once or twice when the door to the backyard was closed. Considering this boy was found intact, he has exhibited much less marking or inappropriate potty activity than might be expected.
