Comet is an 11-month-old Bernese Mountain Dog/Poodle mix weighing about 55 pounds. He’s a sweet, affectionate boy who enjoys snuggling and likes to sleep near the bed (but not in it). He plays well with other dogs and would be happy in a home with canine companions.
Comet has a solid start on training. Off-leash, he comes when called when there aren’t big distractions, and we’re continuing to work on recall—especially around other dogs. He’s comfortable being left alone, free-roams nicely in the house, and quickly figured out indoor living.
He’s affectionate without being clingy and enjoys attention and positive feedback, but he’s also able to settle when people aren’t actively engaging with him. Comet is easy-going, eager to please, and still very much a puppy in the best ways. He’d thrive in an active household with people who enjoy spending time together and, ideally, another dog to play with.
