King of the Gods? Maybe someday. King of flopping dramatically onto the ground when asked to walk on a leash? Absolutely.

At just 9 months old, Zeus has already had quite the journey. When he arrived, his wiry coat was heavily matted and in need of some serious TLC. Now he's looking for a family willing to help him continue his glow-up and learn that the world isn't such a scary place.

Like any powerful deity, Zeus prefers to move on his own schedule. New people and situations can make him nervous, and when the leash comes out, his signature move is the legendary Olympian Pancake-a maneuver where he suddenly becomes one with the earth and refuses to budge.

Zeus needs a patient home that can help build his confidence and teach him that walks can actually be fun. Once he starts to trust you, you'll see the sweet boy hiding behind all that uncertainty.
