Red Spice is a beautiful 6‑year‑old, 9‑pound red Poodle who is quietly waiting for the second chance she so deeply deserves. She came to us after being surrendered by a Lancaster breeder when she was no longer wanted or needed.

Because of her past, Red Spice is understandably suspicious of new people and unfamiliar situations. She’s not a dog who will rush right up for attention—but with patience, kindness, and consistency, she begins to show her true self. Red Spice allows handling, and we are mindful to move slowly with her, always letting her set the pace and respecting her comfort level. Going slow has helped her feel safe, and she continues to make progress every day.

Red Spice is a good girl with a gentle soul who simply needs someone willing to show her that life from here on out will only bring good things. She is looking for a calm, quiet home with no young children, where she can settle in without pressure. Other dogs would be just fine and may even help her feel more secure.

With time, patience, and love, Red Spice will blossom into a loyal and grateful companion. She has so much love to give to the right person—someone who understands that trust is earned and that second chances can be life‑changing.

She will come, spayed,vaccinated, 4dx tested and microchipped. She is also scheduled for a dental evaluation and will receive the dental as the vet deem necessary.

She would need to meet any resident dogs.
