By order of Her Royal Highness, Princess Whisper, a distinguished 10-year-old Maltese/Poodle mix weighing a regal 9 pounds, the following decree has been issued.

After years of being treated as anything but royalty (we sadly suspect she may have been used for backyard breeding), Her Majesty has officially retired from that life. Those responsible have been dismissed from the kingdom, and only luxury shall be accepted from this day forward.

Royal requirements include:
Plush beds worthy of a princess.
Climate-controlled accommodations (air conditioning is non-negotiable).
Prompt escort to the royal garden for potty breaks...followed by immediate return to the castle. Her Majesty does not believe in lingering outdoors.
A peaceful court with kind humans and friendly dogs.

Princess Whisper is a quiet ruler who prefers to oversee her kingdom from the comfort of the softest bed in the house. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs but doesn't require a large entourage. She's an independent monarch who enjoys her own company and believes every good queen deserves a little "me time."

Lap privileges have not yet been granted. Her Majesty is carefully reviewing applications and will determine when subjects are worthy of royal cuddles. Patience will be rewarded.

Watching Whisper blossom has been nothing short of magical. She arrived looking like life had forgotten she was precious, but every day she learns a little more about what it means to be loved, cherished, and spoiled-as every princess should be.
