Poodle and Standard Schnauzer Dogs Available for Adoption

Frankie James is a joyful, affectionate boy who starts every day with happy zoomies and a toy in his mouth, then happily settles in for cuddles and couch time. He loves his people and will gladly snooze curled up next to you once playtime is over.

We believe Frankie is around 3 to 5 years-old and likely a Poodle / Schnauzer mix. Found as a stray in early December, he is now thriving in foster care. He has a medium energy level and enjoys walks, toys, and short bursts of play followed by naps. He gets along great with other dogs and would love a canine buddy to play with.

Frankie James can be shy with new people, especially when they come into the home, but he does much better meeting people outside and warms up with patience and gentle introductions. Once he feels safe, he is an absolute love bug.

He is partially house trained, crate trained, and knows basic cues like "sit" and "down." He will do best with a patient adopter who can continue helping him build confidence and manners.
