Meet Butch!

Butch is a beautiful 40 lb moyen poodle who recently retired from life with a breeder and is now ready to discover what it truly means to be someone's beloved companion. He is a gentle, quiet boy who moves through the world calmly and thoughtfully. What he wants most is a peaceful, patient, and loving home where he can continue to blossom at his own pace.

Butch is still shy with people, but he is making steady progress every day. He has no issues with other dogs and finds comfort in their presence. He walks nicely on a leash, enjoys riding in the car, can manage stairs, and is learning new things with quiet determination. He prefers the comfort of being indoors but enjoys going outside as well.

He likes his kennel and settles in nicely. In the evenings, he'll softly come over while you're watching TV and gently ask for a head scratch - the sweetest little sign that he's learning to trust. We've never even heard him bark. He's incredibly smart, observant, and tender-hearted.

Butch is simply looking for a calm home that will give him the time and love he deserves. With patience, he will be an incredibly devoted companion.
