Hi, friends! I’m Duke—a 2-year-old Poodle/German Shepherd mix with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life. I just arrived at Heartland, and I’m officially on the hunt for my forever home... could it be with you?
If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick, look no further. I’m a friendly, social guy who LOVES people of all ages. Whether it’s hanging out on the couch, following you around the house, or soaking up attention, I’m happiest when I’m close to my humans.
I’ve also got a playful side! I enjoy being outside, stretching my legs, and having a good time with my toys. I’ve got plenty of energy, so I’d be the perfect match for an active person or family who’s ready for adventures, walks, and lots of fun.
The best part? I’m dog, cat, and kid friendly—basically, I’m ready to fit right into your whole crew.
Now, full disclosure: I’m still working on my house training. But hey, nobody’s perfect! With a little patience, consistency, and love, I know I’ll have it down in no time.
And, you'll need a good groomer for us to visit regularly, this hair can be a beautiful, tangled mess.
