Linda is a super cute, wiry little lovebug with a big heart and an even bigger desire to be close to her people. She’s friendly with everyone she meets — kids, adults, and other dogs — and truly enjoys being part of the action. If there’s a lap available, Linda is happy to claim it and soak up all the affection she can get.
She has a nice moderate energy level, enjoying playtime and toys, then settling in for cuddles and companionship. Linda gets along well with big and small dogs and has been around cats, though she does need to be fed separately due to her past. Coming from a hoarding-type situation, she’s learned that mealtime is her own special space, but outside of that she happily coexists with other dogs and enjoys their company.
Linda can be vocal when she sees other dogs, especially if she’s not being held, so she would do best in a home rather than an apartment setting where hallway noise could be stressful. When she’s being held or feels secure, she’s much calmer and content. She’s affectionate, gentle, and loves being close to her humans, making her a great companion for someone who wants a loving little shadow.
She came into rescue pregnant and covered in fleas, but with care and love she’s doing great and showing just how sweet she truly is. Linda would thrive in a home that understands her background, feeds her separately, and gives her the affection and reassurance she craves.
If you’re looking for a friendly, cuddly, wiry-coated sweetheart who just wants to be loved and included, Linda could be the perfect match!
