DESCRIPTION
Meet Harvy (A566184) Harvy is back with us, and while that is not the ending we hoped for, it does not change what we know about him... he is still just a puppy trying to figure things out. At only 10 months old, Harvy is full of energy, personality, and a little bit of mischief. He was returned after being a bit too rambunctious for his previous home, and it is clear he just needs guidance and structure to help him grow into the dog he is meant to be. Harvy likes to jump, dig, and can be a little sassy when he does not get his way. He is not trying to be difficult... he is just young, smart, and testing boundaries like many puppies do. With consistency and training, he has all the potential in the world to thrive. Once you spend time with him, you will see his softer side. Harvy is affectionate, playful, and loves being with his person. He tends to bond closely and would do best in an adult only home where he can have that one on one connection and clear expectations. He loves treats, already knows how to sit, and is eager to engage... he just needs someone willing to show him what is expected and stick with him. Harvy is not a “perfect right away” kind of dog. He is a “put in the time and watch him become something amazing” kind of dog. If you are willing to give him the structure, patience, and leadership he needs, Harvy will give you a loyal, fun, and devoted companion in return. Harvy is guesstimated to be 10 monthsold and weighs 13 lbs. All dogs adopted from Huntsville Animal Services are spayed/ neutered, microchipped, dewormed, appropriately vaccinated, and receive a topical 90-day flea/ tick preventative. Ready to meet Harvy? All you have to do is stop by our shelter at 4950 Triana Blvd and head to our dog areas. You can find him in kennel D10. All adopters must be 19 years or older with a valid ID
