Posey is a 1-year-old Schnauzer mix who made her way to us all the way from Georgia. This sweet girl is happiest when she’s curled up in your lap or patiently waiting at your feet for a little love and attention. She truly adores being close to her people.

Posey can be a bit shy and sometimes startles easily, but with time, patience, and a loving home, we believe she will blossom into a one-in-a-million companion. She’s still learning how to play with toys, but her soft, gentle personality makes her a wonderful match for many different homes with a calm dog.

Posey can live with kids, as long as they understand that she’ll need time to feel comfortable and that being gentle and patient with her is important. Once she feels safe, her sweet nature really shines through.
